  • Items students should bring PPE Including safety glasses, a head covering or hard hat, hearing protection, and wear cotton clothing with long sleeves and long pants (turnout gear is acceptable). Flame retardant layers and boots are recommended for the outdoor portion of the class. It will be June in Washington State, so the weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared. An electronic firing system. Any size of system will do as long as it can fire at least a single cue twice. Please bring at least two igniters that work with your system. We have a variety of igniters for sale so let us know if you have a need for some. It is highly recommended to bring a pen, pencil, clip board or other hard surface to write on, highlighter, and paper for taking notes. A water bottle and anything else you feel you might need to be comfortable is advisable. We will be in a farm shop and outside
