Items students should bring Each participant must bring safety glasses, a head covering or hard hat, hearing protection, and wear cotton clothing with long sleeves and long pants (turnout gear is acceptable). Flame retardant layers and boots are recommended for the outdoor portion of the class. Hot, cold, wet, windy weather and/or muddy ground is always possible in Colorado, so be prepared. It is highly recommended to bring a pen, pencil, clip board or other hard surface to write on, highlighter, and paper for taking notes as we typically don’t have tables. A water bottle and anything else you feel you might need to be comfortable is advisable. We will be in a barn and outside.

It is highly recommended to bring a pen, pencil, clip board or other hard surface to write on, highlighter, and paper for taking notes. A water bottle and anything else you feel you might need to be comfortable is advisable. We will be in a farm shop and outside. Please bring your electric firing system and appropriate igniters if you plan on shooting any products pre-ordered for the class.
• We will complete the classroom portion and test by 5:00 PM. From 5:00-6:00 we will have a hands-on demonstration. From 6:00-9:00 class participants will be able to shoot any products they have pre-ordered for the event (you must bring your own e-firing system if you want to shoot that night). Class participants will get our best wholesale pricing for this event. All orders must be placed at least one week before the event.
