PGI Account (Free Registration)

A PGI Account is your first step into the world of PGI. It’s free to register an account on PGI.org and allows you to:

  • Sign up for online PGI training classes.
  • Track and manage your training progress.
  • Prepare for membership and convention participation.

A PGI Account alone does not grant membership benefits or access to the convention, but it serves as a foundation for further engagement.

PGI Membership (Requires an Account)

Becoming a PGI Member opens up more opportunities within the organization. Membership requires an account and provides access to:

  • Exclusive PGI resources – Members gain access to online articles, training materials, and expert insights.
  • The PGI Bulletin – A full-color journal published five times a year, featuring industry news, expert articles, and upcoming events.
  • Networking & Community – Connect with fireworks enthusiasts and professionals worldwide.
  • Educational Opportunities – Participate in exclusive webinars and training sessions hosted by PGI.
  • Fireworks Display Training – Learn professional display techniques through PGI’s Display Operator Course.
  • Convention Access – Members can register to attend the annual PGI Convention, but convention dues must be paid separately.

Membership is essential for anyone looking to fully engage with PGI beyond training courses.

PGI Convention (Requires an Account, Active Membership, and Convention Registration)

The PGI Convention is a major event for fireworks enthusiasts and professionals. To attend, you must:

  • Have a PGI Account.
  • Be an active PGI Member.
  • Pay the required convention registration fees.

Attending the convention offers access to educational sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on pyrotechnic experiences. It is the ultimate PGI event for members passionate about fireworks and the industry.

Making the Right Choice

  • If you love fireworks and are looking to enjoy a display, consider purchasing public display tickets.
  • If you are looking for furthered training or want to make a purchase in the PGI store, register a PGI Account.
  • If you want full membership benefits, and to engage and participate with other pyrotechnic enthusiasts, you’ll need to purchase PGI Membership for your PGI Account.
  • If you're planning to attend the convention, ensure you have both an account, an active membership, and have paid convention dues.1

1 Immediate Family members are not required to have membership to attend our annual convention, but are subject to convention fees. More information can be found on the annual convention page.
