The PGI Certified Trainer Program was instituted to insure that the PGI Shooters Certification Class was taught by qualified and trained individuals.

It is important that a student attending the course receives similar instruction regardless of where the course is taught. Therefore, it is important that potential teachers are first students to fully learn our methods, terminology, and reasoning.

All PGI Shooters Certification Classes must have one PGI Certified Trainer present to be sanctioned by the PGI.

Requirements:

To be a PGI Certified Trainer, you must meet the following requirements:

Attended at least one PGI class as a student
Attended and taught at least one class as an assistant, with a PGI Certified Trainer
Approved by a current PGI Certified Trainer
Worked on at least 10 Class B public displays
Worked on at least 3 displays as a Lead Shooter

In rare and unique cases, some requirements can be waived by the PGI Training Administrator.
