At every convention, there are a large variety of seminars and workshops that appeal to all members of the Guild and their families. The content of the presentations ranges from simple to complex, from party favors for children of all ages to advanced multi-break shell construction. The preliminary schedule and pre-registration info is provided in the July Bulletin as well as on-line at this site. A final schedule of events will be listed in the convention program. Early registration will be available for some classes that have a fee and limited class size, but not all. On site registration is available starting the first day of the convention, and will remain available until the classes requiring registration fill up. Only classes that require a fee and are limited in size require any form of registration. Most seminars and workshops are show up and enjoy. Do not feel that you are missing everything when a few workshops fill up early in the week. The PGI shooter’s certification class is always held on Wednesday of convention week. Remember that renewals of certifications are required with continuing education. 2008 has an amazing number of hands-on workshops, as well as a typical array of other classes. There will be lots for people to see, do and enjoy. Please look to be a part of the 2008 PGI convention! 2008 Seminar Schedule (link to schedule pdf) There will be preregistration for a few workshops. Most seminars and workshops do not have any registration at all. Just show up! The few, very few, that do have preregistration will have 50% of the seats available for e-mail registration. Send registration request to Seminars@pgi.org between July 28th and August 5th. Preregister for these classes via e-mail to seminars@pgi.org starting at 12:01 AM CDT on July 28th and ending at midnight on August 5th. Please don’t send them early, send on the 28th.
