Membership Guidelines
Any person of good repute who subscribes to the objectives and purposes of the
guild is welcomed to join the PGI. Memberships are valid on a calendar year
basis, January 1st through December 31st. All full members who have paid current
dues receive a membership card, a calendar, and a subscription to the PGI
Bulletin containing Guild news, technical articles and advertising. There are
several levels of memberships available:
1. Full membership - $60 yearly (on-time renewals) and includes the
bulletins, a calendar with the December bulletin, voting privileges and
eligibility to serve as an officer, as set forth in the by-laws. Applicants must
be 18 years of age or older. One person at the household address is
required to receive the bulletin.
2. Full membership with out bulletin - $35 yearly and includes voting privileges
and eligibility to serve as an officer, as set forth in the by-laws. This option
is open to members of the household where the PGI bulletin is already sent.
3. Junior membership - $50 and includes the bulletins and a calendar with the
December bulletin. Applicants must be under the age of 18 and does not include
voting privileges or officer eligibility. Written permission from your parent or
legal guardian is required to join the Guild.
4. Junior membership without bulletin - $35 yearly and does not include the
bulletin. Applicants must be under the age of 18 and does not include voting
privileges or officer eligibility. Written permission from your parent or legal
guardian is required to join the Guild. This option is open to members of the
household where the PGI bulletin is already sent.
5. Lifetime membership – $1500 covers your lifetime and includes the bulletins,
a calendar with the December bulletin, voting privileges and eligibility to
serve as an officer, as set forth in the by-laws. Applicants must be 18 years of
age or older. One person at the household address is required to receive
the bulletin.
6. Lifetime membership with out bulletin – $875 covers your lifetime and
includes voting privileges and eligibility to serve as an officer, as set forth
in the by-laws. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. This option
is open to members of the household where the PGI bulletin for a lifetime member
is already sent.
New members may join the Guild at any time during the year. They will receive
the current year's PGI Bulletins including back issues (if they are available),
a welcome letter, membership card and a PGI arm patch.
New members who join following the annual PGI Convention in August and before
the beginning of the new year will have the choice of either:
(a) Membership for the current year only including all back issues of the
bulletin for the current year (if available) all remaining bulletins to be
published in the current year, and the calendar for the following year which is
mailed with the December Bulletin,
(b) Membership for the following year begins January 1 and extending through the
succeeding year with all benefits under selected membership level.
